The Challenge

The customer needed a complete aluminum dross recycling production line to recover valuable metallic aluminum and alumina from aluminum ash generated during electrolytic aluminum production. The main challenge was to reduce waste, improve metal recovery, control pollution, and replace a traditional production method with safer and more efficient processing equipment. Aluminum dross contains metal aluminum, alumina, and impurities, so the production line required stable grinding, effective screening, reliable material conveying, and a compact process layout. The customer also needed equipment that could reduce floor space, lower investment pressure, and support continuous aluminum dross processing.

Our Solution

Zhenggang Machinery provided a complete aluminum dross recycling ball mill production line according to the customer’s processing requirements and site conditions. The solution included aluminum dross ball mill, screening machine, bucket elevator, conveying equipment, and supporting aluminum ash treatment equipment. The aluminum dross ball mill was used to grind and separate metallic aluminum and alumina from impurities, while the screening and conveying system helped classify and transfer processed materials efficiently. The production line was designed for smooth operation, uniform particle size, high recovery rate, reduced pollution, and safer aluminum dross recycling performance.

The project was implemented through material analysis, site condition review, equipment configuration, production, delivery, installation, and commissioning. Zhenggang Machinery supplied the aluminum dross ball mill, screening machine, bucket elevator, and supporting equipment to the customer site. After arrival, the equipment was prepared for installation and commissioning to help the customer build a more efficient, safer, and cleaner aluminum dross recycling production line.

The Results

After installation and commissioning, the aluminum dross recycling production line helped the customer achieve smoother material processing, improved aluminum recovery, and more stable production. The complete process reduced floor space, lowered investment pressure, and overcame common problems in traditional aluminum dross treatment, including high safety risks and higher pollution levels. The aluminum dross ball mill provided stable operation, uniform finished particle size, high output, and strong recovery performance, while the screening and conveying system improved the overall efficiency and flexibility of the production line.
