The Challenge

Featured image of 650 TPH pebble crushing production line in Porto Portugal
The customer needed a high-capacity pebble crushing production line for processing hard pebble stone into finished construction aggregates. Pebble has high hardness, so direct crushing without a suitable process can increase equipment wear, reduce crushing efficiency, and affect finished aggregate quality. The main challenge was to design a reliable crushing process that could handle continuous feeding, coarse crushing, medium and fine crushing, accurate screening, and repeated re-crushing of oversized material. The customer required stable output, better particle size control, lower equipment wear, and reliable finished material quality for road, concrete, and infrastructure projects.
  • 650 T/H pebble crushing capacity
  • Suitable for high-hardness pebble stone
  • Closed-loop crushing and screening process
  • Stable aggregate quality for construction use

Our Solution

Zhenggang Machinery configured a complete pebble crushing production line according to the hardness of the raw material and the customer’s finished aggregate requirements. The vibrating feeder sends pebble material evenly and continuously into the jaw crusher for coarse crushing. After primary crushing, the material is sent to the cone crusher or impact crusher for medium and fine crushing. The crushed material is then screened by vibrating screen. Qualified aggregate is conveyed to the finished material pile, while oversized material is returned to the upper crushing stage for re-crushing until it meets the customer’s required particle size.

Implementation Timeline

1

Site Assessment

2 weeks

Pebble hardness, raw material size, site layout, and aggregate requirement evaluation

2

Equipment Design

3 weeks

Pebble crushing, screening, return crushing, and conveyor system configuration

3

Installation

5 weeks

Feeder, jaw crusher, cone crusher, vibrating screen, conveyor, and stockpile system installation

4

Training

1 week

Operator training for crusher adjustment, screening control, return material handling, and maintenance

The project was implemented through raw material analysis, site layout planning, crushing process design, equipment configuration, installation, commissioning, and operator training. Zhenggang Machinery focused on building a stable 650 T/H pebble crushing production line with staged crushing and closed-loop screening to ensure continuous operation, controlled aggregate size, and reliable finished material quality.

The Results

After commissioning, the 650 T/H pebble crushing production line provided the customer with stable aggregate processing capacity and improved finished material quality. The staged crushing process helped reduce the pressure on individual machines, while the vibrating screen and return crushing system improved particle size control. Qualified materials were conveyed directly to finished stockpiles, and oversized materials were returned for further crushing. This closed-loop process helped the customer produce reliable pebble aggregates for concrete, road construction, building materials, and infrastructure projects.
